TE Connectivity, a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has opened a new, larger production facility in Hermosillo, Mexico, to support its Data and Devices business unit. The increased capacity of this site, which replaces a smaller Hermosillo facility established in 1996, will support TE’s IoT portfolio of products, including cables and connectors for high-speed communications. The new location will allow TE to develop additional capabilities like antenna assembly and bulk cable manufacturing.
